The Mahatma Gandhi Central Library (MGCL), IIT Roorkee will conduct a five day workshop for Library professionals during 4-8th May 2015 on Koha, DSpace and Joomla.  The aim of the workshop is to spread awareness about the open source software and their proper use in libraries. The workshop will provide detailed knowledge about these three most widely used OSS. There will be extensive hands on practice and half day will be devoted to project on developing prototype digital libraries. Being a week long workshop, it qualifies for API as per UGC guidelines.. The Manipur University Library is organising a 5 Day National Workshop on Open Source Library Management Software (KOHA) during 16-20 March, 2015 under the sponsorship of Indian Statistical Institute, Kolkata.

1. Participants should be from the North Eastern Region only.

2. The number of participants for the workshop is 25 (Twenty Five) Only.

3. Registration Fee is Free along with fooding & lodging.

4. Participants will be shortlisted based on first cum first basis.
