About the Role:
The position is responsible for assisting faculty and students with their research, and for instructing same in using resources as well as in managing research data.
1. Provides research assistance and instruction for all engineering programs at upper levels
2. Presents seminars and workshops on research resources, patents, and information management tools such as Mendeley, LaTeX
3. Provides instructional support for data visualization, GIS and the Decision Theater
4. Provides instruction and support in digital scholarship services including research data management
5. Assists graduate students with thesis research and preparation
6. Provides research support for document delivery
7. Creates and maintains instructional materials such as LibGuides
8. Participates in LibRef service
9. Selects materials for disciplines served
10.Participates in relevant meetings with staff and faculty
