(1)– Group III (4); Scale of Pay: Pay Band-3: 15600-39100 Entry pay: Rs 15,600/- Grade Pay: Rs. 5,400/-. Present total emoluments including all allowances at Goa: Rs.50,982/-
Essential Educational Qualification and Experience: First class degree in science (B.Sc.) followed with M.Lib Science with minimum 55% marks from the Government approved University plus minimum of two years relevant experience after acquiring Master degree. Desirable Experience: Experience in Institutional repository, scientometrics studies, negotiation and understanding the e-resource agreements, inter-institutional connectivity, etc. Working knowledge of software used for Library & Information Science using Linux OS is preferred. Job requirements: Participate in collection management program
(2) Provide services using traditional and electronic sources
(3) Proactive in introducing new facilities and services
(4) Participate in planning, policy and decision making etc for the routine housekeeping functions of the institute library
(5) Develop and maintain the existing databases up to date.
