Acharya Institute of Graduate Studies (AIGS) is located at Acharya Institutes, Soldevanahalli, Bangalore. The College is conducting both UG and PG programmes in 21 subjects. There are about 1,800 students, both from India and abroad, pursuing their studies.
The College has got a newly built Library and Information Centre fitted with modern furniture and equipment. As on today, the Library holds about 10,000 Books and NewGenLib software is in use.
The College is in the process of recruiting a Librarian to manage the Library and Information Centre on urgent basis. Details of requirement are given below:
Position- Librarian
Qualification- MLIS (First Class – Regular)
Experience- 4 to 5 years in a reputed institution
Skills- Thorough knowledge of IT skills and use of Library Application Software
Language- Thorough command over English language
Salary- Around Rs.22,000/- per month
Joining period- Immediately after receiving offer letter
